Comfortable modern hotel, disabled access provided but it’s quite a lot to navigate on arrival by car.
The location. Breakfast was good. They kindly allowed us to check early in to one of our rooms.
It’s not great for disabled access, as the spacious open plan foyer and main floor is on several different levels with step access. There is one lift provided for all levels so it’s not impossible, but it’s not located in a very convenient place for the restaurant area, and involves an extra walk if you can’t manage steps, and includes navigating awkwardly-placed furniture! If (like my disabled sister) you are on crutches, this isn’t ideal. It’s also poorly signposted, clear arrows/ instructions next to any change of level showing where the lift is located would have helped me from running around looking for it. While step-free access to and from the car park is available, there’s no info at the entrance to the car park or on the first level to suggest where best to park for this. I’d sussed it by the time we were due to leave after talking to reception staff but annoyingly the morning we checked out the car park lift was not working! Which meant another long walk for my poor sister. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but it felt like they could have done with more training in this area. We were not the only ones struggling with access that morning and there should have been someone noticing the issues, providing information or assistance. I was the one who had to tell a wheelchair user how to exit the building while the lift was out of order. It’s not terrible , it’s all do-able, but more care and awareness around wheelchair and disabled access would massively improve things. A direct phone line to the hotel reception for some advance info would have been useful but unless you want to pay for a PREMIUM RATE CALL (?!?) this option is not available. And believe me, I tried.

Apart from bathroom excellent
Location excellent rooms good sea view just what we wanted.
Did find the disabled bathroom dangerous as the floor became very slippery when wet. No anti slip flooring.
